G.S. Blodgett & Co. was created sometime around 1848 through a partnership between Gardner. S. Blodgett and a seemingly anonymous Paul T. Sweet. Gardner S. Blodgett created his first cast iron oven for a local Vermont tavern owner in 1848.
1940s - Have you ever seen a parade float like this one? "3 pm the Old Way," "10 am the New Way." Advertising the labor savings of washing machines sold by Blodgett.
