As the fast food restaurant industry exploded in the 1960's, food equipment repair service became essential to maintaining a thriving business.  As demand for these services developed, Whaley Food service Repairs stepped up to the plate to become one of the first food service equipment repair companies of its kind in the southeast.   Prior to the dramatic surge in demand, Whaley Food service Repairs had already developed expertise in service and a significant spare parts inventory by supporting the "Mom and Pops" restaurant community in the 50's.  This early development propelled our company into an unchallenged leadership position as the chain restaurant boom began.

By 1990, the total focus of the company had shifted to accommodate the unrelenting high demand for food service equipment repair.  In recognition of our total dedication to this industry, Whaley Food service Repairs was made our new company name.  Many of our long time customers still refer to us as Whaley Electric, and we still answer proudly to that salute to our long term commitment to service.

Today, Whaley Food service Repairs celebrates over 60 years in the foodservice industry and is proud to be one of the largest independent commercial food equipment service companies in the United States. The business is continuing to grow, with plans to expand operations in the Carolinas as well as the Southeast.

Whaley Food service Repairs has one of the largest inventories of OEM parts in the country. Our parts inventory represents more than 150 of the leading manufacturers of commercial kitchen equipment.
